It also reviewed live shows and newly released singles and albums, plus some witty and satirical pieces on pop celebrities. Each issue has a variety of charts - Gallup, its own-researched Record Mirror charts, US charts, indie charts etc. All in all, it offers a fascinating look at the 1980s music scene.
